Flared Tubing
Flared Tubing has been developed as a direct result of customer requests. It can often be difficult to insert a sample tube into a peristaltic pump tube on ICP-MS systems – this is particularly so if a pump tube has a small bore I.D.
For example pump tubes used for internal standards usually have an I.D. of 0.2mm – 0.4mm and are not compatible with the sample pump tubing O.D. of 1.3mm. A flared end on this peristaltic pump tube allows the larger sample capillary tube to be inserted.
