Stem Cells and Air Quality
A recent study conducted by researchers at the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences China, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) were successful in using stem cells to determine the amount of BPA that caused physiological toxic effects. The group of researchers are hoping that this method will be able to determine exposure to all different types of environmental pollutants.
